Schedule:
- 11:50am-12:30pm - Lunch
- 12:30-1:00pm - 2026 CSWS Reading Session w/ Josh Pedde and Lauren Southard
- 1:00-1:50pm - Singing Games for the Elementary Music Classroom
- Clinician: Andrew Himelick
- Session Description: Singing games in the elementary music classroom not only help your students be more tuneful and beatful. They also can be used to teach certain pedagogical concepts and to create a place of community. Come learn a variety of singing games that can be used with multiple grade levels.
- 2:00-2:50pm - Folk Dances for the Elementary Music Classroom
- Clinician: Andrew Himelick
- Session Description: Come learn folk dances that can enhance your elementary music classroom as they create a feeling of community. Dances taught will be from sources such as New England Dancing Masters, Sanna Longden, Marian Rose, Phyllis Weikart and Shenanigans.
